Bonjour or ‘Gooday!’ -as we –Australians- say.
I am Lama France –this is my spiritual name- or Danielle-France Laplace Spence and I am your facilitator in this Tarot site.
I was born in France and migrated to Australia about 25 years ago. I live with my husband Richard in the Central Highlands of Victoria also called ‘the Spa Centre of Australia’. This is where members of my spiritual family reside as well.
This region is situated in a volcanic magnetic field; it is a goldfield area with many natural springs and spas; it has been a healing sanctuary and a birthing place for the Aboriginal people of the region for thousands of years. Since the last century, it has progressively become a place of healing and pilgrimage for us as well ‘new Australians’.
Nowadays, people come from interstate and worldwide- to benefit from the healing properties of the region and indulge in a well-deserved massage, healing or therapy to enhance their wellbeing. They can also choose, to soothe their mind, body and spirit, among various traditions of yoga and meditation & activities such as courses, classes & retreats on self and spiritual development which are available all year long.
I have been studying and practicing the Art and Science of the Tarot since the mid-seventies, after someone read my cards while travelling in Kashmir, India. The experience awakened in me such an interest that on my return to France –where I was then living- I started a lifelong research on the subject of symbolism, imagery and the Tarot.
My best learning experiences on the matter come from assisting people on their life journey. And there is not one day where I do not learn something new about the imagery language and, in the process, about my own life journey.
